Our Standards
Editorial & Medical Review Standards
How we research, write, review and update LavION content.
Where our facts come from
- Regulators first: FDA, FTC, WADA, USADA, and TSA/CDC/FAA when relevant.
- Peer-reviewed human research, then systematic reviews and high-quality academic reviews.
- Preclinical research (animal and lab studies), always labeled as preclinical.
- LavION product facts (device, formula loads, cadence, shelf life) come from our manufacturer documentation.
We don't use forums or social media as scientific or regulatory evidence.
How we describe our products
LavION uses the ActivaPatch IontoGo 12.0 iontophoresis device, which applies a low electrical current to assist movement of charged molecules across the skin during a wear period of up to 12 hours. LavION is needle-free and does not use microneedles.
Ingredient amounts describe what is loaded into the formula; they do not represent measured systemic delivery.
Evidence about an ingredient does not automatically establish the bioavailability, safety or clinical effect of a finished LavION product.
We don't claim LavION is equivalent to an injection or IV.
BPC-157, TB-500/thymosin beta-4 and MOTS-c are prohibited in tested sport. Athletes should verify the current WADA/USADA list and their governing body's rules before use.
Medical and compliance review
Scientific and medical content is reviewed by Dr. Keith Johnson, MD, our Medical Director. Regulatory and legal-status content also goes through LavION's compliance review before publication.
Updates and corrections
Articles show a published date and, when changed, an updated date. FDA and WADA status are checked as of the publish date. If you spot an error, contact us and we'll review it.
Our content is educational and is not medical advice. A Good Faith Exam with a licensed provider is required before the first purchase.
