Is LavION Legit? How Our Patches Work, What's Inside, and What We Don't Claim
You should be skeptical of any peptide patch, including ours. Here's everything you need to check us, in one place.
Key takeaways
- LavION uses a powered iontophoresis device, not a passive sticker. It's 100% needle-free and doesn't use microneedles.
- Every formula lists the milligrams of each ingredient loaded per patch.
- Ingredient lots are independently tested for identity and purity by MZ Biolabs.
- A Good Faith Exam with a licensed provider is required before first purchase, and our Medical Director is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon.
- We don't claim our patches equal injections or IVs, that the full amount is absorbed, or that our formulas are FDA-approved.
Search "peptide patch" and the most common reaction is skepticism. For a lot of products, that's earned. So instead of asking you to trust us, here's how to check us, using the same questions we suggest asking any brand in Real Patch or Sticker?
What LavION is
LavION Wellness makes needle-free peptide and NAD+ patches. It was founded by Jessica and Johnny Hampton, and its clinical oversight is led by Medical Director Dr. Keith Johnson, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon.
How the patch works
LavION uses the ActivaPatch IontoGo 12.0 iontophoresis device, which applies a low electrical current to help move charged molecules across the skin during a wear period of up to 12 hours. LavION is needle-free and does not use microneedles. Ingredient amounts describe what is loaded into the formula, not measured delivery into the body.
Each patch has a sealed power source and two electrodes, and runs at a very low current, averaging about 0.1 mA, for up to 12 hours. The formula ships as a dry blend. You mix it with the included sterile water right before you apply it.
Iontophoresis is a recognized clinical method for moving charged molecules into skin [1]. That's what we mean by "not a sticker, a device." It describes the delivery mechanism, not how much of any ingredient is absorbed.
Exactly what's inside
| Formula | Ingredients loaded per patch |
|---|---|
| AMPLIFY | NAD+ 1,300 mg · GHK-Cu 5 mg |
| IGNITE | NAD+ 1,300 mg · MOTS-c 5 mg · GHK-Cu 5 mg |
| TITAN | BPC-157 2 mg · TB-500 10 mg · NAD+ 250 mg · GHK-Cu 5 mg |
| GLOW | GHK-Cu 15 mg · BPC-157 2 mg · TB-500 2 mg · NAD+ 250 mg |
| BALANCE | KPV 10 mg · NAD+ 250 mg · GHK-Cu 5 mg |
| RENEW | Glutathione 500 mg · GHK-Cu 5 mg |
| PR1ME | BPC-157 2 mg · NAD+ 250 mg · GHK-Cu 5 mg |
These are the amounts loaded into each patch. They aren't measured delivery into your body.
What our testing shows, and what it doesn't
Our ingredient lots are tested by MZ Biolabs, an independent analytical lab, for identity (by mass spectrometry) and purity (by HPLC). For example, our TB-500 is confirmed as full-length thymosin β4 at 99.76% purity.
That tells you the ingredients are what we say they are. It doesn't measure how much reaches your bloodstream, and it isn't a clinical study.
Who reviews your order
A Good Faith Exam with a licensed provider is required before your first purchase. Peptide orders include clinician review before they ship.
What we don't claim
- That one patch equals a month of injections, or that LavION is equivalent to any injection or IV.
- That the milligrams on the label are fully absorbed.
- That our formulas are FDA-approved drugs. They aren't.
- That our products diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
- That LavION has published human blood-level data. It hasn't yet.
We publish these limits on purpose. Credibility comes from making the strongest claim the evidence supports, and stopping there.
A note for tested athletes
TITAN, GLOW and PR1ME contain BPC-157; TITAN and GLOW contain TB-500; IGNITE contains MOTS-c. All three are prohibited at all times under the WADA Prohibited List [2]. AMPLIFY, BALANCE and RENEW contain none of them.
